Occasionally I sit with Nede and do a little Bible story and try to memorize a scripture together. Nede's got down 1 Peter 5:7, "Give all your worries to God for he cares for you."
Monday we tried to learn Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer." I realize that she probably doesn't understand what that verse means at all, hey, I'm not even sure I do! When I asked Nede to recite it the next day she hesitated and said, " The Lord is my stone and my Veggie Tale."
Oops, we don't have that one down quite as well. ;)
